Seems to me like a 6-horse race takes a totally different strategy than handicapping a large field. There will be no value it taking either of the big favs, so is it worthwhile trying to key on one of them for some exacta's and tri's and hoping a longshot jumps in to screw things up? Even eliminating 2 horses and boxing the super probably won't show any value.
Think EM and FC are a step ahead of the rest of this field, and trying to beat them is going to be tough. Best bet is starting to look like no bet at all.
